God I have no words to express how much I loved this man. It literally sneaked up on me and slapped me in the face, it was CRAZY!! Naz. That last bit of the book nearly DESTROYED me. My world and heart literally shattered right with her.ħ0% onwards I was ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT biting my nails. Was she naive at times? hmm maybe yes, but I loved that about her, I’m glad in a sense because she still acted her age, she didn’t try to become something she wasn’t. But for some reason at that time I just couldn’t get into it, and I kick myself now because this book was LIFE!! It starts off slow, but for me I think that was the beauty of what JM did, she created characters that grew with each other, they fell in love slowly, Karissa’s character grew so much aswell and honestly it was magical to read. I first picked up this book a very long long time ago, I’ll never forget my excitement because I’d always be a MASSIVE HUGE fan of Sempre so I knew JM would never fail with any other book she would release in the future. But IDGAF!! This man OWNS MY WHOLE LIFE, BODY, and SOUL right now. I AM IN AWE OF THIS MAN!
